# Third-party licences

This site redistributes third-party font and icon files in its build output. Those
licences ask for their notice to travel with the files, so it lives here and is served
at `/THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES.md` alongside them.

Added 7 September 2026. Nothing here is a restriction on using SiteNotePro; it is our
side of the bargain for the open assets the site is built from.

## Fonts

All three families are imported in `src/styles/global.css` and compiled into
`dist/_astro/` as woff2, so the build redistributes the binaries.

The full SIL Open Font License 1.1 text ships with each package under
`node_modules/@fontsource/<family>/LICENSE` and is published at
<https://openfontlicense.org>. In short: the fonts may be used, studied, modified and
redistributed freely, they may not be sold on their own, and any redistribution keeps
this notice and the licence with it.

## Everything else

Astro, React, Tailwind and the rest of the build toolchain run at build time and are
not redistributed to a visitor's browser as third-party files, so they are not listed
here. Their licences are in `node_modules` and in `package-lock.json`.

Site content, copy, the logo, the guide figures and the downloadable packs are our own
work and are not covered by the above. See `/terms`.
